Le Tami Show a été filmé au Santa Monica Civic Auditorium en 1964, quelques mois après l'apparition des Beatles au Ed Sullivan Show. Ce film légendaire n'est jamais sorti en DVD et n'a plus été diffusé en intégralité depuis sa sortie en salle le 14 novembre 1964. Le TAMI Show est le premier concert rock à avoir été filmé. On y trouve toutes les stars de l'époque comme les Rolling Stones (avec Brian Jones), James Brown, Chuck Berry, les Beach Boys, les Supremes, Marvin Gaye, the Miracles (avec Smokey Robinson) et beaucoup d'autres artistes de la Motown et de la British Invasion.
